And thanks for the warm welcome! Sorry I’ve been away so long, blogland. The last six months have been quite a ride, so I’ll give you the short version and leave the rest to your vivid imagination. In June, after seven (mostly) glorious years of hill country living, I loaded up the furry ones and Clementine with all of her trappings and moved to the city. Austin, to be specific. To us, the city is anywhere that is not the country. But Austin admittedly has its own kind of magic. I can't believe that six months have passed. But they have been FULL of incredible people and food and art and inspiration. Of course I pine for the catalpa and the wild turkeys and the...oh let’s not start that. For now, Clementine and I are happy to be settling into our cozy urban bungalow. Also, I am SO thrilled to announce that a dear treasure of a designer, Diamond, has found a perch in the studio and has added so much joy to this business of flowering. Gotta love a flower friend who can wax metaphysical and crank out centerpieces at the same time. Much love for this girl.
I’m gathering flower photos from some beautiful summer and fall weddings, but for now I’ll leave you with a little throwback to spring in Sisterdale.
