Here's a little nugget of flower love.
Last week was pretty crazy preparing for the shoot I did on Monday with Loft Photographie at Le San Michele. It turned out beautifully and I am eager to share, but since I was in too big of a rush to snap some phone pics, you'll just have to wait for the real thing.
This week is quiet in comparison, though I did get a call from a very happy client yesterday that made me smile. I've been neglecting my garden which is mostly a container garden because I'm not sure what we'll be doing when the lease is up here. Working in the yard is complicated/funny right now because last week Ramon and his friends took down the dead oak tree in the front of the house. It sounded like the apocalypse. I peeked outside at one point and saw one of the guys sitting on a tree limb rocking violently back and forth with a chainsaw in one hand and two others on the ground with a rope, pulling, yelling at him either "wait" or "more" I couldn't tell, so I decided I should probably stay inside. Anyway, the tree is down but most of it is still in the yard in bits of all sizes, none which I'm inclined to move. Today I worked around the tree apocalypse yard and repotted some stuff that was unhappy, moved some stuff that was either over-sunned or under-sunned and got bitten by more than one army of mosquitoes. I feel like I recharged my gardening karma in spite of the circumstances, and I intended to do the same inside but I'm tired. One day soon I'll tell you something more interesting.
